Yoshinori Higashikawa ( Japanese 東川 昌 典 , Higashikawa Yoshinori ; born September 30, 1964 in Ishikawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Higashikawa learned to play football on the school team at Kanazawa Nishi High School and the college team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract in 1988 with Yamaha Motors (today: Júbilo Iwata). The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . In 1989 he reached the final of the JSL Cup and Kaiserpokal . In 1993 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . In 1994 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . For the club he completed 70 games. In 1995 he moved to the second division Honda FC . For the club he completed 51 games. At the end of 1997 he ended his career as a football player.
