Young Love

Young Love is a rock band formed in New York City in 2005 . The singer of the group is Dan Keyes. The debut album Too Young To Fight It was released on January 30, 2007 in the USA.

Dan Keyes was previously the front man of the Texas post-hardcore band Recover. After recording three albums with this four-piece band, Keyes wanted to make a new musical start. At the end of 2005 he signed a contract with Island Records and moved with his band from Los Angeles to New York, where they called themselves Young Love from then on and initially appeared as the opening act for Head Automatica .

In September 2005, their single Discotech came out, which made it to number 2 in the US Club charts and which was also part of the FIFA 07 soundtrack. In early 2007, Billboard counted Young Love among the "best bets" for 2007. The single Find a New Way , released in the same year, served as the theme song for the newly launched reality show DanceLife , produced by Jennifer Lopez . The album Too Young to Fight It then contained a total of 11 songs, including Discothec and reached the top 5 of the Heatseeker and Electronic Charts and number 168 in the official charts.

In the summer of 2007, Young Love toured as the opening act for Erasure in Seattle, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Cleveland and Brooklyn. In addition to Keyes, the band includes Bob Mann, Terry, Ross and Erik.

The song Close your eyes runs at the end of the 4th episode, in the 8th season of Scrubs .
