The Young Point is a rocky headland in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located on the east bank of Bone Bay in the west of the Trinity Peninsula .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it in 1948. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1953 after the British surgeon Adam Young, who was involved in exploring the South Shetland Islands and the Bransfield Strait in 1820 on the Williams brig under Edward Bransfield .
