Youngsun-gun (영선 군, 永 宣 君; * June 25, 1870 , † March 22, 1917 ) was the grandson of Heungseon Daewongun and nephew of the Korean King Gojong in the Joseon Dynasty . Its actual name is I Jun-yong (Kor. 이준용, 李 埈 鎔).
Life
He was the rival of King Gojong and Queen Myeongseong . In Korean history he is commonly known by his surnames Youngsun-gun and Yi Jun Yong (이준 공). He is said to have been in contact with Daewon-gun together with the Japanese diplomat for Korea Miura Gorō and to have given the order to assassinate the Korean Queen Myeongseong. He was in a relationship with Hong from Namyang and Kim Kwang-san. His concubines were Lee Ok-kyung and Jeon Soon-hyuk.
