Yu Chaohong

Yu Chaohong ( Chinese  虞 朝 鸿 , Pinyin Yú Cháohóng ; born November 3, 1975 in Yunnan ) is a Chinese walker .

At the Asian Games in Busan in 2002 he won the silver medal in 20 km walking , and over the same distance he came in 15th at the World Athletics Championships in 2003 in Paris / Saint-Denis.

In 2004 he finished fourth at the Olympic Games in Athens over the 50 km distance .

  • 20 km: 1:18:30 h, April 23, 2005, Cixi
  • 50 km: 3:36:06 h, October 22, 2005, Nanjing (current Asian record; as of September 2009)
