Yuè Jìn ( Chinese  樂 進  /  乐 进 ; † 218 ) was a Chinese general of the Han Dynasty and at the time of the Three Kingdoms .

He was from the Yangping Headquarters; Little is known of his life before he entered Cao Cao's service. He joined Cao Cao during the Yellow Turbans Rebellion and later fought against Lü Bu , Liu Bei and the remaining Yellow Turbans. In the Battle of Guandu , he rode with Cao Cao's force against Yuan Shao and killed General Chunyu Qiong , who was guarding the supply warehouse.

After defeating Yuan Shao, Cao Cao moved to Jizhou (冀州) and Youzhou (幽州) to pay off Yuan Shao's heirs and patrons. On these expeditions, Yue Jin achieved great recognition and received the title of "General who breaks the conflicts" (折冲 将军).

After the defeat in the Battle of Chibi (208), Cao Cao left Yue Jin, Li Dian and Zhang Liao in Hefei to stop the advance of the warlord Sun Quan . For his success here he was awarded the title "Right General" (右 将军).

The cause of Yue Jin's death is not clear. His son Yue Chen later became governor of Yangzhou.
