Yukikakure-zima (from Japanese 雪 隠 れ 島 'snow-covered island' ) is a small and low island off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 10 km west of the Langhovde in the Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Japanese scientists discovered them in 1991, took aerial photographs and named them in 1996.
