Yuna Iwata (born October 17, 1997 ) is a Japanese sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .
Athletic career
Yuna Iwata gained her first experience in international championships at the Junior Asian Championships 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City , where she finished fourth in 55.41 s. At the Asian Championships in Doha in 2019 , she won the bronze medal behind Bahrain and India in the Japanese 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 34.88 minutes.
In 2017 Iwata became the Japanese champion in the 400-meter run.
