Yungay
Yungay is a toponym that is derived from the Andean altitude level Yunga . The latter name comes from Quechua and means warm valley . The toponym Yungay refers to a Peruvian city in the Ancash department , scene of the Battle of Yungay on January 20, 1839, as well as the Chilean cities named after it .
