Yunji qiqian

Yunji qiqian ( Chinese  雲 笈 七 籤 , W.-G. Yün-chi ch'i-ch'ien , English Seven slips of the cloudy satchel / Seven Tablets in a Cloudy Satchel / Seven Lots from the Bookbag of the Clouds  - " Seven pieces of paper from the book sack of the clouds / cloud book case and seven bamboo strips ”; DZ 1032) is an encyclopedia ( leishu ) compiled by the Daoist Zhang Junfang張君 房, which followed the song in the Tianxi 天禧 government period (1017-1021) Zhenzong during the period of the Northern song dynasty compiled Daoist canon dating back to the Northern song dynasty ( Da song Tiangong baozang大宋天宮寶藏) was created. The Yunji qiqian provides, among other things, an overview of Daoist life- extension and meditation techniques and of the holy places . It is one of the important Daoist anthologies . Many older works or fragments have been preserved in it, for example the work Yongcheng jixian lu (墉 城 集 仙 录) by Du Guangting, which contains Daoist legends of saints .
