Yusif Riistovmov
Yusif İman oğlu Rüstəmov (alternatively Yusuf Rustamov ; born December 29, 1932 in Qazax , † 2010 in Azerbaijan ) was an Azerbaijani sociologist.
Riistəmov was director of the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan . He was the initiator of the establishment of the Union of Turkish Sociologists.
He wrote over a hundred articles and ten books on currents of political thought in Turkey and neighboring eastern countries. Yusif Rüstmov was honored with various awards for his services to the Turkish world.
