Yvette Rosser

Yvette Claire Rosser (born January 31, 1952 ) is an American author and scholar who adheres to Hinduism and seeks to spread this teaching in the West. She is also known as Ram Rani .

biography

Rosser first traveled to India in 1970 where she met her guru Neem Karoli Baba . This gave her the advice to get further education and then to teach Hinduism in the West. She then studied Asian studies at the University of Texas in Austin , where she completed her master's degree . Her master's thesis dealt with India's position in the social sciences and how Hinduism is treated there. 2003 doctorate it with the dissertation curriculum as Destiny: Forging National Identity in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh , an overview of the historiography in South Asia.

Rosser was instrumental in initiating the “ International Day Without Violence ”, which has always been celebrated on April 4th since 1996. She is also a co-founder of the GM Syed Memorial Committee., A committee dedicated to the teachings of GM Syed and thus Sindhudesh .

Rosser is a committee member of the Baacha Khan Research Center in Baacha Khan Markaz, Peshawar and is the founder of Badshah Khan Peace Initiative (BKPI) that the doctrine of Abdul Ghaffar Khan ordered.
