The Züri-Wiesn was initiated in 2007 and takes place every year for 24 days in September / October. On average, around 35,000 people visit the festival and consume over 3,500 pork knuckles , 4,500 half chicken and 50,000 liters of beer. The beer tent, which is set up for the Züri-Wiesn in the main hall of the main train station, can hold around 1200 people. In addition to the beer tent, the concept also includes a beer garden, take-away, and a confectionery and chestnut stand. The entire area is wheelchair accessible, the beer tent has its own toilet facility.
