The Zürser See (also Zürsersee ) is a natural high mountain lake above the Zürs district, which belongs to the municipality of Lech . Lake Zürs is located in the middle of the Lech-Zürs ski area at around 2144  m above sea level. A. in the Lechquellen Mountains in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg . In the south and west of the lake rise the Wildgrubenspitzen , in the southeast the Hasenfluh , to the east, after the Seekopf, is the valley through which the Zürser Bach flows and the village of Zürs.

Its water is led through a tunnel under the Obere Wildgrubenspitze to the Spullersee .

The area around Lake Zürs is particularly well-known for its ski area, in which several cable cars lead to and from Lake Zürs. There are also numerous hiking trails to the lake outside of the winter season.

Since 2013 there has been a precipitation measuring station of the Vorarlberg hydrographic service at 2159  m above sea level above the north-western bank . A. The area to the west and north-west of the Arlberg is generally considered to be rich in precipitation, so a minimum of 1489 mm (2015) and a maximum of 2148 mm (2017) annual precipitation has been measured since the station was founded.
