The ZETA group of companies (spelling ZETA Holding GmbH) is an owner-managed Austrian provider for the engineering, construction, automation and digitization of systems for aseptic liquid production processes for the biotech, pharmaceutical and food industries.

The group's headquarters are in Lieboch (Styria). There are also locations in Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine and the USA as well as sales partners in 18 other countries.

The group of companies specializes in the development, planning, manufacturing, automation, digitization and maintenance of production systems for aseptic processes. Customers include pharmaceutical companies in Europe, North America, Russia, Southeast Asia and China. In addition to the pharmaceutical industry, the food and cosmetics industries are also supplied with process systems. The ZETA group of companies employs around 800 people worldwide.

history

Zeta was founded in 1989. In 2004 the group of companies was one of the founding shareholders of Human.technology Styria GmbH, the management company of the Styrian human technology cluster. In 2007 there was a change of ownership, in the course of which Zeta became part of the CWT / BWT Group. With the takeover by the current owners in 2011, Zeta became an independent company again.

In 2012, Zeta moved to the new company headquarters in Lieboch near Graz. This was expanded to include a new technology center in 2020. Today Zeta Holding GmbH has subsidiaries in seven countries. Zeta GmbH Austria with locations in Lieboch, Lebring and Vienna, Zeta GmbH Germany with locations in Freising and Penzberg, Zeta CH AG Switzerland with locations in Dintikon and Visp, Zeta CZ sro Czech Republic with locations in Moravany and Brno, and Zeta OOO Russia based in Moscow, Zeta OOO Ukraine based in Vinnitsa and Zeta USA Inc. based in Doylestown (PA).

Research cooperation

Zeta has research collaborations with the Graz Research Center Pharmaceutical Engineering (RCPE), Joanneum Research , the Graz University of Technology , the Vienna University of Technology and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna .

Outside Austria, there are research collaborations with the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences and the TU Hamburg .
