The ZF-Arena Friedrichshafen is a multifunctional arena in Friedrichshafen on the old grounds of Messe Friedrichshafen on Meistershofener Strasse.

Construction and naming

After the Bodenseesporthalle became too small and the Friedrichshafen Exhibition Center moved to the new site near the airport in 2002 , Hall 1, which had been in operation three and a half decades earlier, was converted into the Friedrichshafen Arena between June and the beginning of December 2003 for the home volleyball games of VfB Friedrichshafen . With the exception of exhibition hall 10, which is now used by a shopping and entertainment center, all other halls were demolished. In November 2008 the name of the arena was renamed ZF-Arena , expressing the city's thanks and appreciation for the commitment of ZF Friedrichshafen .

MTU Cup 2019 in the ZF-Arena Friedrichshafen
