The ZF Forum in Friedrichshafen is the corporate headquarters of the automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen AG .

The corporate management, conference rooms for symposia and the ZF Museum on the ground floor are housed in the 35,000 m² building. Events of the Zeppelin University and the ZF Art Foundation take place here. The grounds, forecourt and the atrium around which the museum and theme park are arranged are freely accessible.

The first planning took place in 2010. Construction began in 2013. The chief architect was Wolfgang Kergaßner from Stuttgart. The basic concept is a house open to the public, and the ZF office 3.0 work concept also finds its place. The construction costs amounted to 92 million euros.

exhibition

Since its opening in November 2016, the ZF Forum has offered the Group the opportunity to publicly display customer, product and trade fair exhibits from the company's more than 100-year history. The focus of the exhibition is on exhibits relating to the drive train (transmission, steering, suspensions and axles). Furthermore, innovation development over a century in the automotive industry.

ZF Art Foundation

The ZF Art Foundation was established in 1990. The funding concept comprises three main themes:

  • Regional cultural funding
  • Scholarship for visual artists
  • ZF Music Prize

Student research center FN

As of November 2016, the ZF will provide the non-profit association student research center at the Friedrichshafen location with 5 laboratory and experiment rooms. The aim is to arouse students' interests in science and technology.
