Zahara (2012)

Zahara (born November 9, 1987 in Phumlani near East London , South Africa ; real name Bulelwa Mkutukana ) is a South African singer-songwriter .

She sings in isiXhosa , her mother tongue, and in English. The acoustic guitar is their instrument. The style is called "Afro-Soul".

She sold over 100,000 copies of her debut album Loliwe (2011) within three weeks. She has received several awards in South Africa.
