The ZahnRat is a magazine for patients to provide information on dental treatments and topics related to oral and dental health, which is available free of charge in dental practices. The journal is published by the state dental associations of the states of Brandenburg , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia as well as the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists Saxony-Anhalt .
The ZahnRat is published once a quarter. It is distributed via the dental practices of the publishing countries and can be ordered as a copy from the Verlag Satztechnik Meißen GmbH. The magazine is an information sheet for patients and those interested in health and contains the contact details of the patient advice centers of the state dental associations that publish them. It is funded through the publishers as corporations under public law and through advertising on the reverse.
The ZahnRat is printed in color in A4 format, usually comprises eight pages and is printed with a print run of 57,000 copies.
