Zakaria Charara ( Arabic زكريا شرارة; * January 1, 1986 in Beirut ) is a Lebanese football player who is currently active for the Bahraini club Al Shabab in the local Bahraini Premier League .

Charara began playing football in Lebanon at Al Nejmeh , where he went through youth teams and eventually reached the first team. In 1999 he was appointed to the youth national team for the first time, before he was promoted to the senior team there in 2008. With Al Nejmeh he won the Lebanese Championship in the Lebanese Premier League in the 2009/2010 season . After disagreements with Nejmeh, he moved to Jordan's Al Karmel , where he played a few games. In the summer transfer time, he then moved to Al-Shabab in Bahrain .
