Zala Gomboc (born December 11, 1995 in Celje ) is a Slovenian soccer player and alpine skiing slalom runner .

Life

Gomboc was born Cejle and visited the neighboring Zreče the renowned sports school Osnova Šola Zreče. There she was part of the Alpine Skiing Slalom Team of the OŠ Zreče from 2006 to 2009 and took part in several national competitions.

Career

She started her career with the ŽNK Zreče and went through all youth teams up to the C-youth . In the summer of 2010, Gomboc left the C-youth of Zreče and switched to the senior team of the ŽNK Rudar Skale. On March 27, 2010, at the age of 15, she made her senior debut in the home game against ŽNK Maribor in the 1. ženska league, the highest Slovenian league.

National team

Since September 2013 she has been part of the roster for the Slovenian national football team .
