Zavareh ( Persian زواره, also known as Zovar, Zavāreh, Zavāre, Zavvāreh, Īstgāh-ye Zavar and Zūrāvar) is the main town of Bachsch 'Zavareh in Shahrestan Ardestan, Isfahan Province . At the 2006 census, 7,806 people lived in 2,197 families.

Zavareh is located in the northeast of Isfahan Province, on the edge of the Kawir Desert . Khodashahr (God's City), the first technology location in Iran, is located in the east of Zavareh and was built with investments from Iranians living abroad.

It is known that Zavareh was an important trading center in the Sassanid Empire up to the Seljuk period. The city is named after Zavareh, the brother of Rostam , a mythical hero of Iran.
