The Zawadzki Stacks ( English ; Polish Ostańce Zawadzkiego ) are three surf pillars in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . They are located between Sygit Point and Teliga Island off the John Paul II coast of Livingston Island .
Polish scientists named it in 1980. It is named after the engineer Maciej Zawadzki, participant in three Polish Antarctic expeditions (1977–1978, 1978–1979 and 1980–1981), the latter as deputy expedition leader.
