Zdeněk Folprecht

Zdeněk Folprecht (born January 26, 1900 in Turnov , † October 29, 1961 in Prague ) was a Czechoslovak composer.
Folprecht was a student of Josef Bohuslav Foerster , Vítezlav Novák and Václav Talich . From 1923 to 1939 he was a conductor at the Slovak National Theater in Pressburg , then at the National Theater in Prague. He composed an opera , four symphonies , a clarinet and a violin concerto, a nonet, a piano suite, choirs and songs .
