Zdeněk Merta
Zdeněk Merta (born April 25, 1951 in Hranice na Moravě , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech composer , pianist and music producer .
biography
Zdeněk Merta studied music at the Prague Conservatory and composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague . Since then he has worked with singers like Petra Černocká and Hana Hegerová , wrote over 100 songs, composed two ballet performances and has been a film composer since 1986 with the crime thriller Tod am Stadtstrand, staged by Dušan Klein . From 1992 to 1996 he also worked occasionally for German film and composed the music for films such as Ferien mit Silvester and Die stupme Augustine .
Merta is married to the Czech actress, presenter and sportswoman Zora Jandová .
