On June 5, 1801, a joint venture with the Wolfsbank colliery was established under the name Hope . The area of the Hope Colliery was designated as Hope I and the area of the Wolfsbank Colliery as Hope II . The only known production figures date back to 1802, there were 168 Ringel coal promoted. After the breakthrough with the Wolff colliery , there was a dispute over rights in 1803. In 1808 Hope No. 1 was only mined in the seam. This seam was also the Geitling seam. After another breakthrough with the Wolff colliery, there was another dispute over rights. The following year, shaft 2 was dismantled; the shaft was twelve puddles deep . In the same year , the Hope colliery consolidated with the Wolff colliery to form the Heinrich colliery .
