history

On April 8, 1846, a square with a size of 0.9 km² was awarded . On February 1, 1899, the excavation of the tunnel cross-cut to the south began. The dismantling began in the same year . In 1901/1902 the colliery was acquired by the Westphalian coal works. On January 27, 1903, the Johann Heinrich colliery was shut down. In 1906 it was taken over by the Johannessegen mine .

Promotion and workforce

The first known production and workforce figures come from the year 1899, when six miners produced 25 tonnes of hard coal . In 1900 the production rose to 835 tons of hard coal, this production was provided by seven miners. The maximum production dates back to 1901, when seven miners produced 995 tonnes of hard coal.
