The Johannes Erbstollen colliery was a hard coal mine in Kruckel , a district of Dortmund's Hombruch district .
history
The mine, located on the northern slope of the Ardey Mountains , was founded between 1756 and 1757 with the award of the seams Mittgottgewagen and Johannes Erbstollen. In 1759, the granting of hereditary tunnel justice for a tunnel in the Brunbeck valley followed . In 1784 the production was started. 1810 there was a consolidation of Berechtsame to Zeche Johannes Erbstollen.
After the coal reserves above the bottom of the tunnel were mined in 1836 , the mine was initially closed. In 1850, work began again with the sinking of a civil engineering shaft . The coal was delivered to the Elberfeld-Dortmund trunk line of the Bergisch Märkische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft via a connecting railway .
In 1875 the mine was taken over by the United Wiendahlsbank colliery .
