The Laute colliery in the Querenburg district of Bochum is a former hard coal mine . The colliery was also known under the name Zeche Lauthe or Zeche Lautenbanck . The colliery was located in the area of today's Lennershofstrasse and Schattbachstrasse. Despite its 60-year history, little is known about the mine.
Mining history
The mine was already in operation in 1739. The mine was also in operation in 1754 and 1755 as well as in 1758 and 1759. There were eight miners on the mine. In 1756 a fault was ransacked. Behind the fault zone, the seam could be opened up again. In the same year the request was made . The lying behind the disorder Langenfeld was in the same year awarded . In the years 1761 to 1763 the mine gave up yield . In 1775 the mine was listed on the situation map. In 1799 the Laute colliery consolidated with other collieries and Längenfeld to form the Glück & Segen colliery .
