The bill Lina is a former coal mine in Bochum district Stiepel . Despite its more than 70-year history, the mine was only in operation for a few years.

Mining history

In 1832 the assumption was made for a mine field in Rumbergs Siepen. A length field was awarded on May 12, 1849 . Following the award, the mine was put into operation. Several tunnels and a barrel length shaft were operated. The shaft was probably also used by the ore mining company Müsen IX. In 1855 the mine was closed in time limits . In the years 1863 and 1865 the mine was demonstrably back in operation. In 1867 14 miners extracted 3925 tons of hard coal . In 1869, 4,967 tons of hard coal were mined. In 1870 the mine was still in operation, but there is no information about the production. In 1873 the Lina colliery was taken out of service. Before 1909 the mine of the Carl Friedrich Erbstollen colliery was closed.
