The Mathiasfeld, Pauline Jung III, Elisabeth and Eisenfeld colliery is a former iron stone mine in Dortmund-Berghofen . In the mine was next Eisenstein also coal mined . The mine was only in operation for a few years. The mine belonged to the Märkisches Bergamts district and there to the jury area Hörde .
Mining history
On August 29, 1850, the expectation was given to Mathiasfeld. On March 27, 1851 which was square box Mathiasfeld for the mining of iron ore awarded . On March 11, 1852, the prospect for the field Pauline Jung III was inserted. On January 29 of the following year, the quarter field Pauline Jung III was awarded for the mining of iron ore. In 1855, hard coal was also mined. The only known sponsorship and workforce figures come from this year. With ten miners, 2062 ⅞ Prussian tons of hard coal were extracted. On February 3, 1859 , the Pauline Jung II and Mathiasfeld mine fields consolidated with further mine fields to form the Josephine mine .
