The Neue Sackberg colliery is a former hard coal mine in Essen-Burgaltendorf . The mine was also known as the Zeche Neuer Sacksieper Berg . The tunnels and shafts of the mine were in accordance with the Niemeyerschen map east of Dumberger road amounting Haverkamp.
Mining history
On July 3, 1754, a pit field was awarded . The mine was in operation that same year. This year five miners were employed at the mine. In the period from 1784 to 1796, hard coal was extracted from the mine . In 1794 the mine was entered on the Niemeyersche map. In 1796 the area of shaft 2 was mined. A length field was awarded on February 27, 1802 . In 1808 consolidated the bill New Sackberg with the bill Schrutenberend for colliery New Sackberg & Schrutenberend .
