The Peter Caspar colliery is a former hard coal mine in Witten- Borbeck. The mine was also known as the Peter Caspargericht Witten colliery .

history

On March 31, 1767, the suspicion was lodged. The mother was Johann Peter Steinhaus, Johann Peter Mercklinghaus and Johann Caspar Hundicker. The mother intended to work again on a coal bank that had been in the mountain-free area for some time . The coal seam underlined by the Hilchenbache towards Rüdinghausen. The mother wanted a mine field that ran eastwards and was the size of a treasure trove and 20 dimensions . In 1768 two length fields were measured . In the Borbachtal in the area of ​​the Krumme Dreh, tunnel construction was then carried out. On February 28, 1771, the trades Johann Peter Steinhaus, Johann Peter Mercklinghaus and Johann Caspar Hundicker were entered in the records of the Mining Authority. Each of the three trades had a share of 42 2/3 Kuxen in the mine. At the time, no lending had been granted, but it was intended to apply for the lending. The legal fees had been paid. The mine was in operation at the time. On November 4, 1774, a length field was awarded . On February 3, 1824 , the Peter Caspar colliery consolidated with other mines to form the United Ruhrmannsbank colliery .
