The Zeche Verein is a former coal mine in Mülheim- Fulerum. The mine was only in operation for a few years.
Mining history
In 1846 one was Langenfeld in the Berechtsamen the mines Prussian Highness Diepenbeck and Beringrad awarded . There had already been tunnel construction in the area of this authorized person . The shaft association of the former Wiesche colliery was taken over. The shaft reached up to the 63 Lachter floor. After the award, the mine went into operation for several years. Already in 1851 , the Zeche Verein consolidated below the bottom of the tunnel to form the United Wiesche mine . With this consolidation, the shaft association was taken over. The Zeche Verein continued to operate independently above the bottom of the tunnel. In 1857 there was also a separate shaft again. Mining above the bottom of the tunnel was finished before 1875 . For this reason the Zeche Verein was closed. In 1896 the remaining rights fell to the United Wiesche colliery.
