history

The "Journal for Geological Sciences" has existed since 1973. It was initially published by the Akademie-Verlag and has been published since 2005 by the Verlag für Geoswissenschaften Berlin. It is independent and solely committed to science. In July 2008, the magazine's bilingual website was launched. The copyright of published articles is transferred to the magazine. This takes place with the acceptance of the manuscript for printing.

Due to a progressive visual impairment , Wutzke discontinued the magazine for geological sciences in 2019.

Type of contributions

  • Article is the main form of research contributions, especially work on nationally or internationally interesting problems.
  • Short Communication can be used for the quick publication of preliminary and particularly interesting scientific results.
