Ⱳⱳ

The (lower case ⱳ) is a letter of the Latin writing system . It consists of a W with a hook on the right.

The letter is in the alphabet of the Puguli language. This language contains four preglottalized consonants that use letters with hooks: Ɓ ( bilabial ), Ɗ ( alveolar ), Ƴ ( palatal ) and the Ⱳ (labial-velar), which is used for a preglottalized labialized voiced velar approximant (IPA: ˀw ) becomes.

The Lobiri still uses the digraph 'w due to the lack of support for a W with a hook on typewriters and computers, but the language committee responsible is planning to introduce the Ⱳ for this language as well.

Presentation on the computer

Unicode contains the Ⱳ at the code points U + 2C72 (uppercase letter) and U + 2C73 (lowercase letter).
