Ɓ
The letter Ɓ (lower case ɓ) is a letter of the Latin writing system , consisting of a B with a hook. It is included in the Africa alphabet and is used in various African languages such as Fula and Hausa . In the international phonetic alphabet , the lower case letter represents the voiced bilabial implosive .
Sometimes an alternative form of the capital letter is used, which is similar to the Cyrillic capital letter Б. Literature works that use this form of the capital letter include the Practical Orthography of African Languages from 1930 and a New Testament in Loma from 1971.
