The magazine for immission control is a specialist magazine on environmentally relevant topics with a focus on immission control .

In 1996 the magazine started with three issues a year. Since then it has appeared four times a year. The editors had to 2003, among other things Manfred Putz who, starting in 2006 as one of the two editors acted. 2016 officially took Isabelle Franzen-Reuter, University of Applied Sciences Münster , the chief editor .

The journal offers contributions by experts from the practice of environmental authorities and environmental law . The quality of the contributions is guaranteed through peer review . Information from the Federal-State Working Group for Immission Control (LAI) and the Conference of Environment Ministers (UMK) are also published. The magazine is published by Erich Schmidt Verlag , based in Berlin . It is also available as an online version. The journal's tables of contents have been on the Internet since the first issue in 1996. Since the 1/2018 issue, the magazine has had a new layout , with the previously inexpensive black and white printing being replaced by multi-color printing .
