Journal for Child Law and Youth Welfare , ZKJ for short , is a German legal journal for family law . Editing takes place in conjunction with the Federal Conference for Educational Advice ; the magazine is published by the Bundesanzeiger Verlag in Cologne .

The journal was created in 2006 by merging the journals Zentralblatt für Jugendrecht ( ISSN  0176-6449 ) and Childhood Law Practice ( ISSN  1434-8330 ). The year 2006 is considered to be the first year of publication. The tradition of the Zentralblatt goes back to 1909. Their price in 2015 was € 126.80 per year.
