Zeno unicorn
Zeno Einhorn (* 1899 in Kimpolung , Bukowina , Austria-Hungary , † 1941 in England ) was a German writer and doctor .
Life
Growing up in the Bukowina ( Kimpolung and Czernowitz ), Zeno Einhorn fled to Vienna at the beginning of the First World War . After the war, he studied medicine in Vienna and subsequently worked there as a doctor. In 1938 he and his family fled to England via France, where he died at the age of 42.
Literary work
Zeno Einhorn belonged to the group of German-Jewish poets from Bukovina, who were supported by Alfred Margul-Sperber , who also brought about the publication of Einhorn's novella Spring in the Jewish Alley . Einhorn's poems only appeared posthumously, for example in the anthology "Die Buche" compiled by Alfred Margul-Sperber.
