Central staff of the Soviet partisan movement

The Central Staff of the Soviet Partisan Movement designated a special military fighting organ of the CPSU to lead and coordinate the fighting activities of the partisans on the territory of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War from May 30, 1942 to January 13, 1944.

He was subordinate to the headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief . It was dissolved in March 1943 and reorganized in May 1943. The Ukrainian staff of the partisan movement with the Moldova department belonging to it were directly subordinate to the headquarters. From 1942 to 1944 , Panteleimon Kondratievich Ponomarenko was the head of the “Central Staff of the Partisans” .
