Vandit Records is a record label with headquarters in Berlin . Vandit was founded in 2000 by Paul van Dyk and publishes music in the fields of trance and progressive house .

The motto of the label reads "No art without artists" ( "No art without artists" ), which should mean that stand at Vandit the artists and their musical visions in the foreground. The Vandit tries to achieve this, among other things, by the fact that the label takes over the production, promotion and sales coordination so that the artist can fully concentrate on his work as a musician.

Regular label events are the "Vandit Nights", which take place every year in the " Kesselhaus in der Kulturbrauerei " Berlin and meanwhile also internationally. In addition to Paul van Dyk, other national and international DJs such as Moguai , Timo Maas , Sander Kleinenberg , Roger Shah , Alex MORPH , Ben Nicky or Maarten de Jong play at these events .

In July 2010, Vandit Records merged with Armada Music . The Vandit team remained responsible for the A&R management, Armada took over the exploitation of the Vandit Back catalog with its 100 publications and more than 200 tracks from the Vandit Digital sub-label. The joint venture was dissolved in 2013. VANDIT has been operating as an independent label again since summer 2013.
