Central body
Central body stands for:
- in astronomy for the more massive partner of a two-body problem (especially if the orbit around the common center of gravity lies entirely in its interior).
- in the biology of molting animals such as insects for part of the protocerebrum in the upper pharyngeal ganglion , together with the fungal body , the vertebral bodies and others.
