The central school is a school building of the Weißenburg i.Bay elementary school . in the large district town of Weißenburg in Bavaria in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The school has outsourced school classes in the Weißenburg districts of Dettenheim and Oberhochstatt .

The foundation stone of the building planned by Wilhelm Kirchbauer was laid on July 27, 1907, the topping-out ceremony on November 9, 1907, lessons began in autumn 1908 and the inauguration ceremony on September 28, 1908. The main building at Schulstrasse 6 is listed under monument number D-5-77 -177-426 registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian monument list. The three-storey group building has three wings and was built in the Heimat style.
