The Central Association of German Goldsmiths, Silversmiths and Jewelers is the German umbrella association of German goldsmiths , silversmiths and jewelers .

He is the successor of the Reich Guild Association for the jewelry, gold and silversmith's trade. The seat of the association is Cottbus . The association is entered in the register of associations.

He coordinates the different views within the industry. It represents the interests of its members.

tasks

The association has the task

  • to represent the interests of the subject areas for which he is trained, nationally and internationally.
  • to support the affiliated state guild associations and the craft guilds in fulfilling their statutory and statutory tasks,

  • He is authorized to set up or promote technical schools and specialist courses as well as to hold final exams or further training examinations.
  • It forms examination committees that accept and certify examinations on subject areas in advanced and advanced training for jewelers, gold and silversmiths and related professions.
  • It forms a council of experts. The Expert Council is an association of experts in the industry. It includes the experts sworn in by the IHK and HWK as well as the independent experts who have passed the examination of special expertise. Membership in the Expert Council is currently notarized after participation in the advanced training regularly carried out by the Central Association.

The central association can also promote the economic, social and cultural interests of the members belonging to the affiliated state guild associations and craft guilds. For this purpose he can in particular

  • Create and support facilities to increase the efficiency of companies, especially in technical and business management terms.
  • Promote the joint purchase and joint takeover of deliveries and services through the formation of cooperatives, working groups or in any other way within the framework of general laws,

The ZV was founded on September 25, 1900 during the constituent meeting of the "German Goldsmiths Association for the Protection of Legitimate Interests". Members of the founding committee:
