Zhang Ailing (badminton)
Zhang Ailing ( Chinese 张爱玲 , Pinyin Zhāng Àilíng , born December 17, 1958 ) is a former Chinese badminton player .
Career
Zhang Ailing won gold in women's singles at the Asian Games in 1982 . In the same year she also triumphed in the All England , a year later she was able to defend this title. At the 1983 World Cup , however, it was only enough for bronze. By winning the Uber Cup in 1984 , Ailing became team world champion.
