Zhao Xiaoding is a Chinese cameraman .
Life
According to various sources, Zhao Xiaoding graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in either 1985, 1987 or 1989 . Due to his special visual style in particular, he subsequently became one of the busiest cameramen in China and was able to celebrate major successes in advertising as well as in the film sector. He was also hired as a cameraman for the two major events Expo 2010 and Summer Olympics 2008 .
In 2004, Zhao attracted worldwide attention for his special camera work on House of Flying Daggers . He has been awarded and nominated for countless film awards. In addition to an Oscar nomination for best camera , he received a nomination from the British Academy Film Award for best camera and a nomination from the National Society of Film Critics Award for best camera .
