The Ziehm Imaging GmbH was founded in 1972 in Nuremberg founded and is more mobile in the development, production and marketing, X-ray based imaging solutions ( C-arms ) specializes. The medical technology company with its headquarters in Nuremberg has locations in Italy , France , Finland , USA , Brazil , Singapore , China , Russia and South Africa as well as a network of worldwide distribution partners . Ziehm Imaging is a full subsidiary of the Aton holding company .
In 2006, Ziehm Imaging brought the first fully digital, mobile C-arm onto the market, the flat panel detector of which creates distortion-free, high-contrast and highly dynamic images. Since April 2012 the company has taken over the distribution of the OrthoScan Mini C-arms in Germany, France and Italy.
