Zigui
Zigui ( Chinese 秭归县 , Pinyin Zǐguī Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level Chinese city of Yichang in Hubei Province . It is located at the eastern end of the Xiling Gorge (西陵峡). The Zigui pier (姊 归 港) is a popular destination for tourists because you can see the Three Gorges Dam from there . Zigui County has an area of 2,427 km² and 391,574 inhabitants (end of 2004).
At the community level, the district is made up of seven large communities and five communities. These are:
- Maoping municipality (茅坪 镇), seat of the district government, administrative center, 206 km², 79,511 inhabitants;
- Quyuan Municipality (屈原 Groß), 215 km², 21,137 inhabitants;
- Guizhou Municipality (归 州镇), 128 km², 29,386 inhabitants;
- Greater community Shazhenxi (沙镇溪镇), 188 km², 38,271 inhabitants;
- Large municipality Lianghekou (两 河口 镇), 269 km², 31,795 inhabitants;
- Large municipality of Guojiaba (郭家 坝镇), 313 km², 53,166 inhabitants;
- Greater community Yanglinqiao (杨林桥镇), 235 square kilometers, 28,044 inhabitants;
- Shuitianba municipality (水田 坝乡), 224 km², 36,284 inhabitants;
- Community Xietan (泄滩乡), km² 145, 15 880 inhabitants;
- Meijiahe municipality (梅 家 河乡), 88 km², 19,589 inhabitants;
- Moping municipality (磨 坪乡), 141 km², 12,608 inhabitants;
- Zhouping municipality (周 坪乡), 275 km², 25,903 inhabitants.
