The Cistercian Abbey of Campo Grande has been a Brazilian monastery in Campo Grande , Archdiocese of Campo Grande , since 1976 .

history

The Brazilian Itararé Monastery , founded in 1951 by the Cistercian Abbey of Oberschönenfeld , founded in 1976 as the second subsidiary Nossa Senhora Aparecida ("Apparition of Mary") in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso , which was elevated to a priory in 1986 and an abbey in 1989 .
